Just wondering if the 1st squirrel you buy is supposed to cost 12 RC or is this an error? A long time ago when the island was new, I was being charged the price for buying the 2nd of some items when I was just buying the 1st one, and that turned out to be an error.

Yes it cost RC, the squirrel fur isn't used in anything as yet, and the only mission that asks for it is untimed so there is no reason to rush to buy it however.
